We were expecting some of our security deposit to be returned, but instead received a bill for $200 along with receipts for repairs for normal wear & tear or work that should have been done before we moved in. When I contacted Mr. Ring he quickly responded by email. He then followed up with a phone call, and was very clear with what we could expect. From start to finish, he reached a settlement in less than five months - without having to go to court. We would have been satisfied with just some of our deposit back, but Mr. Ring was able to get our full deposit back along with almost all expenses for the filing of the case. I do see some negative reviews on here, but this is business. He’s not going to waste his time or your time and money if there is little or no evidence or the outcome is unlikely to be favorable.

Mr. Ring was unnecessarily condescending during consultation. If you don’t want to take the case then just say that, at the end of the day it’s business. However, I was offended by his comments about how the jury and the courts don’t care about mental health being a disability; along with his sly remarks about my Anxiety. That’s strange coming out the mouth of any attorney but most of all it’s ignorant and just not necessary! You may not care Mr Ring but God does. However, This is my final response to your deceptive business practices. Let’s start with the cat: I obviously had a last minute emergency unto which was explained to you and your staff. I asked you several times may I reschedule and you made the decision to continue with the consultation, therefore the cat is not the problem. Stay Focus! If anything I’m glad I brought her with me to balance out the negative energy in the environment…… moving on. Everything else in your response is beyond inaccurate. I don’t teach piano lessons from my home and I never have for the simple reason that tenants are not allowed to sell services or make a profit from their rental unit. You are a housing attorney so you should definitely know that. The rest of the inaccurate information from you is not even worth addressing because you have very poor listening skills. Piano lessons can actually help you improve that flaw of yours, you should look into it. You lack quality listening skills because you spend 90% of your time cutting people off with your condescending rhetoric. Question: Who apologizes for telling the truth? I don't! In response to your untruthful comment of an apology, why are you apologizing if you didn't do anything wrong? If you have to ask anyone whether ‘You’ should be direct or sugarcoat anything shows your level of dishonesty from start. First impressions are valuable and my discernment of you is I simply don’t trust that you would handle any case of mine with integrity. This is why I was no longer interested in any of your services, letters, or referrals. Once again it is obvious to me that you lack experience with anything dealing with mental health and discrimination. Because of that I chose to take my business elsewhere while exercising my First Amendment rights to leave a review on my experience with you. Don’t be offended Mr Ring just Do Better!
