after nearly 5 months of battling for custody of my children, my attorney did nothing and didn't fight for me once. All they cared about was getting their payments, and the minute you couldn't pay the ungodly amount, they quit in the middle of the case. Go spend your money elsewhere and hire a better law firm. Just getting to the financial aspect of.my divorce, and now have to find a new attorney.

Charged a $125 for initial consult. Charged $70 to draft a letter asking for proof of income to verify that I could pay. Charged $70 to review my paystubs and tax returns. Charged $280 to basically do the consult again. Guess he didn’t take any notes during the initial PAYED consult. Didn’t see any work for a week and 1/2 Asked to hold all billable work Charged another $280 to discuss holding the work I asked to close the file. Can’t really attest to their their ability to lawyer so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. I can say they are excellent at finding things to charge for. Only deliverable I have is a letter asking for W2s. Should’ve listened to the reviews

Absolutely worthless representation. They spend millions of dollars annually on marketing as a "father friendly" law firm but all they care about is bilking clients out of money. $400 per hour and their advice was for me to "get the judge to talk about basketball because that's his favorite sport" Because judges so frequently engage in casual conversations with parties in their courtroom. Don't waste your money since the only thing Cordell & Cordell cares about is moving as much money from your account into their account. If you want a sense of how unethical this firm is, read their Better Business Bureau reviews. Literally hundreds of complaints about their deceitful billing practices.

I am very grateful for Mr Bittle at Cordell & Cordell was emphatic, supportive, knowledgeable, and recommended a balanced financially wise settlement. I would highly recommend this firm if you need a great attorney for your divorce.
