Embodies the classic scam model of initial consultations. I specifically requested a male attorney for a father’s rights case, yet they assigned me a female attorney with a defeatist attitude. She charged me $180 only to regurgitate generic information I could easily obtain from an AI chat, while also guilt-tripping me for not starting the process sooner. This was after I had just explained how my ex financially ruined me for two years, and I had only recently recovered enough to take legal action. The irony is that I take great satisfaction in knowing that opportunists like this will soon be replaced by AI. Cordell and Cordell is the McDonald’s of law firms—selling ‘nothing burgers’ to people who can least afford it.

I went with them to lower child support. They made a deal to pay 600.00 plus for two kids. After my son turned 18 the rate remained the same. Had no idea it would not lower after he was over 18. Never met a lawyer ever. Just worked with paralegal. I put down 5 grand was told I would probably get some money back. Instead owed much more. Save your money not worth the money.

Highly recommend this firm. I never imagined I’d be getting divorced after 26 years of marriage, but this firm helped me through the process.

If you are looking for a divorce attorney that does absolutely nothing for you and charges you an arm and a leg, then this is your firm! You can pay them tens of thousands of dollars and do all the work yourself and even speak for yourself in court! In fact, they don't even need to be there. In all seriousness, I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your representation. I wish I could give zero stars.

My personal experience was awful. In the end I was able to get what I wanted on my own and ALOT more that my Council said I should ask for. I was told in one of my meetings that certain things would not be presented to the judge as it would negatively impact thier "relationship" with family court judges. Things like my childs mother teaching my then 5 year old son that life would be easier if his father was dead. Fathers are critical to our kids lives - I just simply would not recomend this firm to get the most and best for you.
