So my mother is been a patient at Yale for the last 30 years in as worked as a condition for Fair Haven Health Clinic in amazes me in this day and age that I can pick up the phone and call these people for her to get seen and they have not changed a bit. They meaning the call center and I guess the nurses that answer these phone calls and in the operators themselves, they are rude, inconsiderate, and loud instead of talking in a calm tone and understanding why you’re calling instead of assuming you already know, put yourselves in a patient’s position. We are in an epidemic, whether you choose to believe it or not, and Yale has not changed any of his ways I will not go to Yale. I have not gone in the past five years because of this, but my mother and sis don’t ask me why. Do you people need to get it together? You really do.
I was diagnosed with UC around three years ago and it has been quite the struggle. I was being treated at a different medical facility where I do not feel I was getting the care that I needed. It was difficult to make appointments and the overall “treatment” was not getting me better. Test after test, new medicine after new medicine. It was not working for me. I have been at Yale for just a few short months now and I am finally confident that I am getting the care that I need. Dr. Guidos is highly informative and quickly put together a treatment plan for me. I feel that the Dr. truly wants me to get better which I haven’t felt in the past in other practices. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Making appointments is not a difficult task and is very structured. I recently had an appointment with a nutritionist and learned so much about my gut health. I am extremely grateful and hopeful that my quality of life will improve thanks to Yale Digestive Health.
This is simply not a patient centered responsive practice. Sad, for me.
The customer service is extremely poor! Moving appointments, not attempting to be accommodating to the customer. Originally scheduled for November, moved to February and now being moved again. Yale Medicine should work on accommodating patients after all we have a choice where we receive care!
Dr. Sachar is a Great passionate doctor. Trying to get an appointment with out waiting months is a problem!! Returning a call back is a problem. Sometimes I don't get a return call back.
