Well, this is late, but better late than never. Shane and his associate Heather did an amazing job in working with me on handling a case where I was charged wrongly based on a written statement that cost me a job, time without employment, and forced relocation. At the end of the day I found another job and only had to miss one day of work. He worked with me with payments and truly thought alongside the same lines I did. While money is definitely part of the equation I never felt he was greedy or overbearing. After all, I was in an extremely tight spot financially. If I could give more than five stars I would. Shane was awesome, I was charged with marijuana ovi, after meeting with Shane for a free consultation he made me feel like I had no worries and he would help direct me In the right direction. 4 months later my case was dismissed. I got a speeding ticket coming down 75 in Lockland but live in KY. Was thinking I can just do traffic school to get out of points and have it wiped off my record since KY offers that and was assuming Ohio did too.... found out Ohio doesn’t do traffic school or any program like that. If I paid the ticket I would get points and my insurance rate will go up. I didn’t want my insurance to go up, I already pay a high rate due to two accidents in the past. I started googling traffic citation lawyers and Shane Herzner was at the top and had several great reviews. I was really impressed when he answered first time I called and I didn’t have to leave a message and stayed on the phone with me for quite a while explaining things and answering my questions. His partner actually is the one who went to court with me. She was very knowledgeable and nice. I was very nervous because Lockland’s courthouse is a mayor’s court and it’s a little different than what i’m used to. It is very small and it was a small room with some tables set up for the judge and court staff and some folding chairs set up for us.... it was a little intimidating and weird to me. She really came through for me. She explained everything to me and what would happen which calmed my nerves. Long story short I didn’t even have to go in front of the judge or talk... she talked to the prosecutor for me and they agreed to reduce it to a non moving violation which is what I wanted and was the best case scenario in my situation. I was there less than 20 minutes. I’m very satisfied and I would definitely retain Herzner Law again in the future if the need arose!
