Reviews

I am open to revising this review if the firm begins actively working on my case and addresses the concerns I have raised. I engaged this office for assistance with a time-sensitive case on behalf of a beneficiary. The firm knew our timeline and constraints when accepting the case. We submitted supporting evidence over a month ago. Since then, I have not received any updates or confirmation on whether additional information is needed. Furthermore, the case portal shows no signs of progress. The firm initially indicated that draft materials would be ready within "a couple of weeks," but has not provided any specific timeline, making it difficult to plan. Without clear expectations, "a couple of weeks" could mean anywhere from two weeks to several months. I have also been waiting for over two weeks for responses to basic questions. Given that we have already paid the $5,000 retainer, it would be reasonable to receive an estimated timeline for when we can expect replies (at the very least!). Reading recent reviews has heightened my concern that our experience may not be an isolated incident. We had a positive experience with this firm a decade ago, but it seems the level of service has declined significantly since then.
I wish, there is option of negative review. I have been charged $5000. I have decided not to pursue the permanent residence application through them. I have emailed them multiple times to refund the initial deposits, but have not been successful. I have to file a complaint against them at bar association of Newyork. It is simply not acceptable and ready to take a legal action if my deposits are refunded.
Avoid Jeffries & Corigliano, LLP Immigration Firm for Your Needs My experience with Jeffries & Corigliano, LLP regarding my EB1 and EB2-NIW cases has been nothing short of a nightmare. The lack of attention to details with paperwork, many mistakes throughout the application, filing under the wrong category, lack of communication, lack of transparency, and refusal to refund despite their failures have caused me significant stress and delays in my immigration process. They submitted my case without any revisions, indicating their lack of professionalism. I strongly advise against using their services for any immigration-related matters. Save your time, money, and peace of mind by seeking help elsewhere. Here’s a detailed description of the numerous issues I faced: Repeated Submission Failures for the Same Category Three Submissions for EB1: Despite three attempts to submit my EB1 application, all were unsuccessful due to errors and negligence on their part. 1. First Submission: o Requested Premium Processing for EB1 and Regular Processing for EB2: Sent checks for premium processing of EB1 and another for EB2 regular processing. o Mishandling: They submitted the EB1 case under regular processing and sent a $700 check instead of the premium processing check, and never filed the EB2. o Multiple Mistakes: Errors in the EB1 forms, including incorrect social security number, arrival date, and my kids' last names. o Incomplete Forms: Led to case rejection. 2. Second Submission: o Rejected due to incomplete forms and incorrect check amount. o Unbelievable lack of knowledge about USCIS rules. 3. Third Submission: o No confirmation of the submission, and the checks I sent them were never cashed. No transparency at all. o Repeatedly ignored my emails and calls for status updates. Poor Communication • Difficulty Reaching the Attorney: The attorney rarely answered phone calls or emails promptly. Calls were often transferred, with promises to call back that were never fulfilled. • Cancelled Appointments: Scheduled joint calls with the attorney and the firm’s head attorney were canceled twice at the time of the appointment without any prior notice or apology. • Lack of Updates: Even now, I do not know if the third submission of my EB1 application was actually filed or not. Refund Denied • After three failed submissions, I decided to discontinue their services and requested a refund. My refund request was denied without any valid justification. • They claimed they had done more work for me than I had paid for, despite the consistently poor quality of their work. • Their repeated mistakes and lack of seriousness regarding my case indicate a broader disregard for their clients. Conclusion I strongly advise against using Jeffries & Corigliano, LLP for any immigration-related matters. Save your time, money, and peace of mind by seeking help elsewhere.
Great professional team. Even though there were several mistakes throughout my paperwork and I had to work on my end but eventually they were very successful for responding to RFEs and getting the green card at the end.
Worst decision to hire this firm. They waisted years of my time toward citizenship by not recommending the right thing in the timely fashion. Very busy, hard to get in touch with the lawyer, and the paralegals are overwhelmed with applications. I ended up hiring another lawyer to finish the job.
