Alameda Health Systems is a network of hospitals. This review is specifically for Alameda Health Systems not the specific hospitals within them. When dealing with medical and health issues it seems the worst part is dealing with the insurance and billing afterward. Alameda Health Systems has been extremely difficult to deal with. I have tried to pay my bill on numerous occasions but they make it nearly impossible to do so. No one returns messages and if you call the billing number you can expect to be on hold for over two hours. Who has time for that?! I don't know if they are extremely understaffed but they should make it easier for patients to make payments on their bill. There is nothing available on their website so you can access your bill, make payments or anything. If they are so understaffed then they should think about using modern technology to assist them.

Horrible system and personnel.

All the staff treated my Mom so well when she had her stroke six years ago, they are true ANGELS!
