I went yesterday totally not sure about what to expect ...I found out about them through reditt called them and was matched with a mentor in 5 minutes . I met with my mentor Willis white and it was like stepping on a goldmine of information . He was very patient and REALLY listened .I booked I think 1 hour (super lady at the front desk booked it for me) session with him and I was there for 2 hours and there was so much to ask and cover ! I still can't believe something like this exists . I have been working for myself for about 10 years and this is the kind of the thing I always wanted but never knew existed ! Working for my business has been very rewarding for me both financially and personal development wise but its difficult to find people in your life who understand your entrepreneur drive or if u need advise !

If you're starting a business, a meeting with SCORE is a must have experience. I spoke with Walter and was very thorough and helpful when it came to making sure my business was correctly positioned to grow.

As I developed my business, it was helpful having a seasoned business counselor. From idea to launch, our counselor offered professional insight that would have been costly anywhere else. The Score office in Old Oakland is beautiful, well worth a visit.
