Do not waste your time with these pathetic lawyers. Seven years my grandfather had to deal with these people. He had cancer caused by the rail road station years and years ago. Everyone who was still alive got hefty settlements from this. But using this lawyer they schemed him! He relieved 16 thousand dollars and the lawyer received 59 thousand. They promised him to waive their normal fee of 44% if he would settle out of court so they didn’t have to do any extra work. They lied and took all of his money. This should be illegal. You’ve been warned of these corrupt individuals.

They would take your whole settlement if they could. Not only did they get paid but they took over %50 of my boyscout abuse settlement check on top of what they got paid for from BSA.

This experience has taught me so much about myself. And mostly, realizing and accepting that the outcome may not be what I want. Marc J. Bern & partners have the best staff and go way above and beyond even an attorneys call of duty. Megan, Gaston, and Marc and all the other's we have spent hours on the phone corresponding about my case have been great. They keep me updated and I've called the office a couple times only to meet another super, nice, understanding person. I know, I know Attorney's are out to "get yah" Not this group. I've been dealing with this firm for the last 7 to 8 years now on a class action case. In the maybe last 50 calls in, I have NEVER, not once received a call back. we have gone through 3 different point attorneys that were assigned to our case. ( Brian Brick and Elliot Shankman) Each assigned attorney has either quit or resigned from this firm. After all these years of stagnation and ineptitude, the statute of limitations will probably run out before they reach out to any of the plaintiffs. I'm now exhausted and have reached my limit. I'm done chasing this firm.Which means that the defendants will win this case by default. Kind of makes you wonder if that was the intention the whole time. It seems a bit nefarious to me. Of all the law firms that I have dealt with through my life, I've never experienced such disregard and UN-professionalism. I think, taking all my experience with this firm and all their stories, it must be a sham.
