Portfolio Recovery has made the process of resolving my debt very pleasant. The website is excellent! When I have needed to delay a payment I have been able to do so in a couple of easy, quick steps. Other debt collectors should take a lesson from Portfolio Recovery!

How do they have such a high rating?? Bots! And paid influencers! They do not work with you and are very nasty. I've been paying off all my debts and this is the last one. Why? Because everyone else worked with me and I negotiated at least 40%-75% off and they don't budge past 19%? Greed 8s serious guys! My $700 debt was purchased by them for pennies on the dollar! I'm guessing they bought it for $30-$70. If they settled with me for 50% off original debt that would be $350. That would be roughly a 1000% profit for them! But they are so greedy they don't care. Nothing less than a 2000% profit will do for them. Man am I in the wrong business!! Returns like that from people who don't have much money is nothing less than pure evil and greed in my opinion.

sorry no 5 star but who really likes debt collectors. The lady I spoke with was very nice and understanding. only plus I guess to these collectors is interest has stopped . They will take as little as 5.00 which is great but man that would take a long time to pay off.

The chat lady I chatted got everything screwed up. I told her that I wanted to make settlements on two accounts. Then she brought up accounts that were included in a 2014 bankruptcy. I told her that the two accounts I needed were ebay Mastercard and Venmo credit card. I told her I wanted to dispute the old accounts that were part of the 2014 bankruptcy, what does she do, she disputed all of them including the latest two accounts name above. Then she tells me, I need to contact the disputes department on Monday, when I wanted to take care of the two accounts today. Not happy with her non-ability to listen to me.

Over the phone communications can be difficult at times. The website should have a link for one time transaction it would make it easier to make additional payments. Seems this company doesn't want to work with you paying it off just keeps you dragging along at whatever pace they want to drag out your loan.
