I wanted to give 5 stars but the live chat rep started out as easy to work with then flipped the script toward the end of the session. I am rating this at all because of America. She was so helpful with getting my payment plan setup. She was patient, understanding and consistent with what we discussed. If she had not gone above and beyond to help me with settling my plan, I would most likely still be trying to figure out how to overcome this hurdle. I wish all agencies had customer service like she has! I also like the fact that this is the one agency that stands by their guarantee to delete the tradeline once satisfied.

Their website was very user friendly. It had 3 different payment options available for me and while navigating their site, there were always personized messages stating how they know life happens, things can be difficult, we're here to help, etc. These statements made me feel good about this company because whether sincere or not, someone took the time to make these statements to ease customers minds, which I feel is the 1st step in working with people to help resolve their debts and get them back on track! I personally feel that they are truly interested in helping people and that's a rare commodity these days. Don't be afraid to call these people to help you get your finances back in order. I think they set the bar for other debt collection agencies to follow.

I just want to say that working with Portfolio Recovery has been a pleasant experience! I am just 3 payments from paying my debt off and I have had no problems at all with PRA. They understand hardships and will work with you with what you can pay. This is very important when you're in this situation. I have been in a payment plan since 2017 and I am almost finished, so thank you PRA for making this easier and great to work with these past 4 years!!

My experience with Portfolio Recovery has been awesome. Their representatives are very professional, they take pride in working with you to make sure your needs are meet. I love how polite they are in their greetings and making sure you understand the terms of your agreement and nothings forced upon you.

As creditors go, they are very good. I like the fact that I can select and schedule my payments. Also, stated in the letter I received, after the debt is payed, it will be removed from my credit report. We need this easy in difficult situations and these difficult times.
