I have been seeing Dr Goldstein for over 30 years. He did my cataract surgery when I was in my 40’s and I am now in my 70s and still don’t need glasses for reading or distance. He really is an excellent doctor!

Kind, caring, patient, fair. I would NEVER let anyone else touch me. I've been seeing Dr. Goldstein for 25+yrs. He repaired both of my husbands eyes. My husband, the fearful skeptic, REQUESTED the 2nd eye to be corrected less than 2 weeks after his 1st surgery. He has the very latest in equipment. If he can't assist you for whatever reason, he has no problem in giving you a referral to a TOP SPECIALIST for whatever you may need. He saw something that didn't look right when he examined me. He referred me to a TOP neurologist which possibly prevented me from having a TIA. I can't say enough about Dr. M. Goldstein and his professional highly qualified staff. I have referred MANY satisfied friends to him.

Excellent doctor....I have been seeing Dr. Goldstein for about 4 years now, and him and his wife has been the best service I have ever had. Without Dr. Goldstein I would have never known that I had keratoconus with both my corneas scarred. Thanks to Dr Goldstein my sight has been restored in both my eyes.

This eye doctor is professionally competent and very honest and ethical. Our primary doctor had my wife make an appointment with Dr. Goldstein because another eye doctor told her two weeks earlier that she had a serious cataract condition and needed immediate surgery. Dr. Goldstein examined her eyes thoroughly and found that her cataracts will not need surgery for many years or maybe not at all. He explained her condition, comparing the lens of her eye to a window. A serious condition with cataracts is like a cloudy, dirty window which is hard to see through. Her lens has a tiny smudge on the window, but she can still see the view. We are so greatly relieved that our primary doctor chose Dr. Goldstein to give his second opinion. She won't have to deal with getting surgery on her eyes.

I am relatively new to NYC and found the Goldstein's via recommendation from another doctor, and I am beyond thankful. Both of the Drs. Goldstein made me feel so welcome from the moment I walked in the door - anybody who visits their office is treated like family. Mrs. (also Dr.) Goldstein is accommodating, thoughtful, and personable - she has a knack for remembering even the smallest of details and has gone the extra mile for me at each visit. I came in complaining of vision problems (ocular migraines, dry eyes, dizziness, etc.) that had long gone unsolved by several previous optometrists, ophthalmologists, and a neurologist, and though relatively minor, they were ruining my ability to be productive at work and really affecting my quality of life. Dr. Goldstein recognized and resolved my issues in about 15 minutes, and took his time to answer each of my many questions. He was so patient and I did not feel one bit rushed at any point during my visit. I would refer any of my loved ones to the Goldsteins practice - they really are the best.
