SHINDLER AND JOYCE

Not professional in the least. Will actually hang up on you, then make you wait on hold for ungodly long time periods. They will speak over you. And if they repeat themselves for any reason they will belittle you make you feel like it’s not there job to answer a phone call from someone who’s been giving them money for a year.

My sister is dealing with shin and joyce and has a garnishment faithfully coming out every week she called because the court said she only has 400 left to pay on the garnishment and the debt collector said she owes $1077.00 when the court said she owes $400 left and they have been faithful to cash the checks. They are crocks. They told her she owed 1077 on January 4 and here we are in March 4 and it's still the same balance on their end as it was in January but court says a whole other amount as they should know since it goes to them first and they sent it to shin and Joyce which is interesting

As a paralegal, I am appalled by their lack of professional and legal ethics. My fiancé had a wage garnishment for an old credit card debt. Had I known, I would have helped him sooner. However, it is what it is and this law firm began garnishing his wages. The problem is, they won’t stop garnishing his wages despite having fully paid off the debt and issued a letter of satisfaction. I will be reporting Keith to the ISBA for misconduct. I cannot be coming in every other week for a check because they keep “accidentally” deducting from his account. Unethical crooks.

These guys are absolute scumbags. They do everything in their power to make you default on your court ordered payments by using a number of tactics so they can garnish your wages. Just yesterday they hung up on me three times and flat out refused to accept the payment despite me making several other payments with the same debit card. They asked us to set up auto payment so we gave them our banking information and found out months later they hadn't been taking out any payments at all. Instead they dragged us back into court and claimed we were at fault even though we had auto payments set up to come out. While in court they tried to go back on our original agreement for a reduced amount to pay claiming that we defaulted by not making payments. It's been a back and forth game with these jerks just to make our payments.

This law firm with Keith Shindler and Michael Joyce are a part of a junk debt buying scam. they prey on people who are at their worst financially. they sue those people. Keith Shindler works as a lawyer for Cavalry Portfolio Services who randomly sues people without the ability of proving they owe the debt (they own nothing about your information). They are a complete scam. Do NOT trust any communication coming from Keith Shindler.
