Was going through a custody battle with my ex-wife and hit a road block with the case with a previous attorney. After awhile I found Cordell & Cordell and was assigned to a lawyer. That lawyer unfortunately left the firm and I ultimately decided to stay with the law firm and my case was assigned to Tyson. Once my case was with Tyson things started to move forward again. This is a firm that concentrates on billable hours. I spent over $5800 in 3 months before we filed our first document with the court. They love to play ping pong emails with the other spouse's attorneys so they both can get their billable hours. They refused up front to roughly estimate the cost of my divorce. I regretted signing up for the credit card auto-billing. When I started to protest how it was going and suggested we end the relationship, they very quickly terminated it. I found a local attorney who would give a fixed-rate cost for a fairly simple divorce. He did more for me than Cordell ever did.
