Craig Rosenthal is a great public defender. He truly cares about his clients and really tries. After a lot of hard work he managed to actually get me a really good deal. My friend also had him and had a good experience. Great guy, thanks Craig.

They do not return phone calls, can not reach public defender lawyer. The public defender was supposed to write a motion so I could get my family members property back from local law enforcement, they never helped. After leaving multiple calls with the receptionist and messages in the lawyer's voice mail with no help and no one to turn to the property was sold at auction and the rest destroyed. So my advice, just dont get in trouble or you will be in trouble. They are the worst!

Apparently the role of he public defenders office in cook county is to send an investigator to your house when you're the victim and have them belittle and berate you and question your whole story. They're like pip squeak thugs. I'm not scared of you and you and your thug client will lose. Do not ever show up unannounced to my door again! I cannot believe the disgusting tactics our tax dollars pay for! I'm the victim but I'm getting pop ups from my abusers attorney trying to call me a liar!!!!??? I said F it all bets off no more offering probation he can go to jail since you want to come UNannounced to my door disrespecting me and my evidence!
