Reviews

Sue Dawson and her team are some of the most amazing, caring lawyers out there. They are truly professional and "results' oriented." I can't say enough good things— honest, reliable, transparent, professional — they get the job done! They helped me with several corporate issues, as well as my personal estate work. They did it fast and in a very cost-effective way. Sue is currently working with me on obtaining WBE certification, and I am confident that this will be a huge asset to our overall business plan. I hired WP&D for their knowledge and expertise. Sue, Millie and the entire team exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this firm — great attorneys, great experiences!

Susan Dawson is an excellent business and labor & employment attorney. As a peer, we work in similar areas of law although I practice in New York State, and she practices in Illinois. We often confer on fast-breaking changes to the law, and I always value her insight and her dedication to get to the underlying rationale of new laws and regulations. Susan is diligent and creative in her legal interpretations and analysis, and no doubt this helps her clients. I am grateful to her for being a reputable, reliable practitioner on whom I can rely to support our clients across the country.

I was very happy with Ms. Waltz as my attorney. Throughout this awful process she remained a voice of reason and clarity. All of my questions were answered in a way I understood, not legal speak. Nothing my ex tried to do got by her, she was always on top of things and kept me very well informed. I didn't have to wait days to hear back from her. Nichole saw to it that I was treated fairly and divorce sucks but I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my divorce. For everything she did for me I would've expected to pay more but I found her fee to be quite fair. Divorce is not fun for anyone but it sure helps to have an attorney you can count on and trust, Nichole is both of those things and more!

T E R R I B L E I used Nichole Waltz’s services during high conflict divorce. Here are the highlights after 20 month of my experience: 1. Nichole Waltz will help you to lose your wining case in most difficult and slow passion. 2. If you expecting high conflict divorce – don’t hire this firm. They don’t know what to do in critical situations, they will not protect you, and they will not advise you. You will be left alone to deal with great amount of fear, stress and emotions including court proceedings. 3. If one of your marital assets is privet business – don’t hire Nichole Waltz and her firm. She has no idea how to deal with it and she will not do anything to help you. She doesn’t know how to get financial records for privet businesses. She doesn’t know how to read financial statements and other documents related to the privet businesses. Their financial investigator is not effective either. Check, document and report all your financial documents by yourself, otherwise they will never make to the court. 4. Don’t let her use different lawyers in your case!! It will cost you more for no reason. You will be charged for the time when they exchanging the information regarding your case between each other. Make sure that she will invite court reporter for your trials. Make sure that Mrs. Waltz will attend on every trial by herself. On my first trial she went on vacation and sent her inexperienced young associate to represent me which ended up in a loss of court hearing and additional 2 years of court proceedings. 5. Nichole Waltz will lie to you, she will lie to Judge. She will disregard any of your needs, wishes and will do anything to benefit financially in most efficient way from your trouble without blink of her eyes. She will keep you unaware of details of your case and you will be charged for the time when she will provide the updates. Make sure that your financial affidavit will have all professional/attorney fees entered properly and box where additional help mentioned will remain unchecked. With advice from Mrs. Waltz these details were missing and box was checked in my papers: 60K attorney fees that she received from me and financial help from third party that I never received were in my court papers at all times for 20 month of her performance. These little details helped other party to “win” for some time. 6. Make sure that checks from trials will be on YOUR name. Mrs. Waltz likes to keep them in her trust account and then use them like there is no tomorrow. You probably going to receive only left overs if any. She will refuse to give them to you. When I got to this point with her I found a new lawyer and left. After a short period of time my situation completely changed - I won my entire case and finally became free from abusive husband and court nonsense. My experience was almost identical to google review on this firm from Frank Matuszek 2016. If you thinking to hire Nichole Waltz to help you with your divorce, think twice.

“We hired Susan Dawson from WPD to help us with an IDES audit. She offered professional and legal expertise as she guided us through the daunting process of determining whether our team of caregivers should be independent contractors or employees. We are forever grateful for the excellent service she provided and I highly recommend Susan Dawson for any of your corporate legal issues."
