The Law firm was supposed to have my mortgage and car loan reaffirmed. I kept asking them to do the paperwork to get them reaffirmed but kept telling me there was plenty of time. Also they kept telling me I had to request the reaffirmation paperwork from the mortgage company which was not correct. By the time they finally sent me the paperwork it was to late. Once they get your money they do not care. When I told them they waited to late the paralegal said she would talk to my lawyer about reopening the case long enough the get the reaffirmation done she would call me. I still have not heard from the law firm. I doubt very seriously I will hear from them because they don't want to take the time. Although my bankruptcy was discharged which hurts my credit the mortgage company and auto fiance company will not report my on time payments to the credit bureau's. They cost was low but I guess you get what you pay for. I am going to file to the appropriate agency a grievance against the law firm if they do not take care of my reaffirmation very soon. I have also consulted with a lawyer but have not made a decision.

When I got myself into a financial mess and my house went into foreclosure I was blown away with all the advertisements. I knew I needed a lawyer but all the ads weren't helping. He played a great devil's advocate and that really helped me to fully examine the situation I was in and work out the best solution for me. He wasn't really trying to push me into something that might not have been right for me, just for the money. That alone makes them 5 stars in my book. They worked for ME and wanted what was best for ME. I'm glad I found Acosta Law. I really couldn't speak highly enough about them. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need their help, I'm truly sorry but trust me when I say, do yourself a big favor and call these guys. They will do right by you.
