When I learned that my ex-wife had filed for divorce, I was confused, scared, intimidated, and at a loss for direction. I called the firm based upon name recognition, and ended up speaking with Braden. He guided me through the process. He understood my interest in my children's experience, and also grasped what I had at stake. He led me through the process of divorce in a way that protected my interests without inflicting pain to my boys. I trusted Braden throughout the process, and could not endorse him more. First of all, i surfed and came upon this website for the 'divorce guy', and I checked it out. I found all the information to be stellar. The different and diverse topics which led to extremely helpful videos and other beneficial areas when considering such a dreadful action as divorce. I thought, "man, I wish I could talk to this guy because he seems like the one person I would like advice from". (You know, everybody has an opinion, and that is why I hesitate to discuss my issue with "everybody"). But I thought, "ehhh, I will submit my request and see if he calls". Well, in prompt time Mr Findling did return my call and I was not disappointed. He was so kind and genuine and I really appreciate the help. And again, the website: second to none if you are searching for divorce knowledge and topics.

My case was completely sabotaged when I trusted the Findling law firm. On 3/8/24 I was to meet with Christien to discuss options to appeal. Braden invited himself into the meeting and eventually took over as Christien rarely replied to my emails. On 3/26/24 Braden contacted me at work and informed me that I needed to sign a document without explaining what it was. This was a day before the 21 day window would close for objections. Braden scheduled and attended hearings without me being present. I told him I was uncomfortable with him attending without me and he did it anyway. He asked the judge in an email if he could attend on my behalf even though I requested for him not to. They say the initial consultation is free and then add it to your bill to use up the retainer. I never agreed to the judgment they created and I could not sign due to unresolved custody issues. Braden informed that the judge would enforce the judgment regardless. There were 3 appeal options that weren’t presented until after it was too late. They say you need a final judgement before appealing but that couldn’t be true if there’s an “interlocutory appeal” and an “appeal by right”. Those options were presented 4/5/24; coincidently after my case was concluded. I wrote an email detailing my dissatisfaction and was told I could meet with Daniel at no charge to discuss my concerns yet they added an $800 dollar charge to my final bill. I paid $2500 and the firm is saying I owe an additional $2,200 for a judgement that was worse than the original one I came in with. They inquired about my income and used it to determine what they’d charge me because the services provided were not worth half of what I paid. A grievance will be filed. Braden underhandedly forced me into an arrangement without any regard to my family’s wellbeing. I will never trust any lawyer after this disgusting experience.
