Ian wagemaker is responsible for representing Note Equities and yet failed to collect the necessary documents and validate his client's words. I was served a notice to quit for "non payment" even tho there is an electronic track record of rent payments. He also signed off on it stating "ive never had the right or privilege to live here" yet the landlord has a copy of the signed lease. His lack of attention to detail and validating his clients word makes his signature useless and silly. I'd expect far my professionalism from a law attorney. They are quick to sign off on their clients disputes without actually gathering the evidence to represent himself correctly. Silly pencil pushers

Ian wagemaker unfortunately didn't do his homework before signing off on his client's dispute. You should probably reconsider the client's you represent, especially note Equities. As they are providing you with wrongful information to remove tenants and your just signing off on paperwork that shows up at your desk, without verifying what your truly representing. It's one thing to do what your clients want, but it's detrimental to your professional career to represent lies and hate towards tenants just to remove them. Our closing attorney was Keith Hathaway, and the paralegal working our purchase was Tim Enright. Both were incredible, but especially Tim. I can be a handful. I know this. I am stubborn and bullish, and when I set my sights on something, I want it done yesterday. This team kept up with me from start to finish. They were incredibly responsive, patient, and genuinely seemed to appreciate how difficult it can be to purchase a house. We had a lot of hiccups from the sellers side of things, and Tim handled them as quickly as possible. Both Tim and Keith took the time to explain everything to me in detail, which I’m sure can be annoying, but they were always happy to share from their wealth of knowledge. When we were ready to close, I pushed really hard for it to happen in a couple of days [see note re: being stubborn and bullish above], and so we had another person there for our closing, Maureen. She was friendly and personable and also answered my hundreds of questions. I didn’t get the chance to thank Tim and Keith in person, but I’m very glad we got to work with them. We couldn’t have done it without them!

A law firm that has multiple positive attributes, but only one Keith Hathaway. This attorney completed tasks that only a skilled, seasoned, professional could achieve. He went out of his way explaining in depth for an average person like me to understand and he utilized his knowledge to get a situation resolved before it could even become a problem. I absolutely will use him again in the future and I recommend him to anyone who is seeking to purchase a home especially for the first time. I can't thank him enough for the effort and time he put in. He moved mountains to make sure my family and I were able to purchase our home. He cares and understands people. This is who you want in your corner especially when you are a first-time home buyer, but definitely use him for any home purchases. Don't put your future in the hands of just anyone. Have the person who will fight for you. Keith Hathaway is incredible.

While I imagine that this firm might be able to efficiently process an uncomplicated real estate transaction, my slightly unusual situation did not get the attention it required. After over a month of multiple requests for Mr. Hathaway to look into a right of way for a landlocked property, and with only 3.5 weeks left until closing, I switched attorneys. I'm glad I did. The new attorney immediately identified the potential issue and worked to advocate for me in the transaction.
