Was initially referred to this firm by my Attorney in TN. Linkedin profiles showed competency and success in the legal concern my family was pursuing but incidentally no legit testimonials in the past decade for subject counsel in question. Paid a grand to have my case reviewed and they enthusiastically accepted the case. After receiving all requested uploaded documents, they completely ghosted us with any further correspondence, all the while knowing there was an impending deadline to make a decision of critical importance. Having run 5 successful business myself over the years, the least you can do is send a courtesy message out that you aren't accepting the case after all vs promising to follow through with such a colossal matter when dealing with a family's estate and future generations. These may be small cases to the firm but large cases to the people and their families involved. In my opinion, The gravity of such negligence should be a legit board complaint. I would advise to proceed with caution.

Joel Athey is a terrible lawyer cannot be trusted. He was my lawyer on a transaction and he fed the other side information so HE could benefit. Truly disgusting. He helped the adverse party get exactly what they needed while they were telling him it was a sham deal and I would be getting screwed. He should not have a license to practice law.
