My husband had a testerosterone class action. This law firm waited 4 years to tell us that they could help him. And then told us we better hurry to find another lawyer because the time is almost over to file against them . How sweet of them right

I did not like the way this law firm handled my grandmother’s case (through me, her guardian ad litem). I felt they wasted about 2 years of a case that was time-sensitive. We were promised different things and they did not come through with anything. They were SHOCKED that I was upset about them not keeping their word (ex. how much time was left for the case to be over, or settlements that were supposed to happen within 90 days which did not (Hrag), or even an amount of what the lawsuit was going to bring in "high six figures" (the guy who first handled my case, but then left to work at another firm). When I confronted the different attorneys at this law firm about the false promises they had made to us, they became defensive and denied all the things that I brought up to them. They said I was immature and unappreciative and that I had caused a break in attorney-client relationship and that was BECAUSE I brought up all of their FALSE promises they had made to my grandmother and I. I felt Benjamin Hakimfar and Brian Kabateck (one of the partners) were the most disrespectful towards my grandmother and I. When I forwarded the emails to Brian Kabateck about feeling Benjamin Hakimfar’s was unprofessional towards us, I was told that I was wrong and that I was “bashing” his hard work…what a complete joke. I apologize for calling you guys out on the things you had told me and calling you out on what I felt was completely ruthless behavior. When I asked that their law firm from then contact me ONLY IN EMAIL so that there is no misunderstandings and so everything is in black and white....he said that they would not be able to do that and that they can no longer work with us forcing us to seek new counsel. I asked him why not??? “if I were deaf or mute, would [they] not handle the case because [they] only work with clients who speak over the phone???” He said THAT was “derogative language that their attorneys cannot tolerate.” They also claimed that they would not be able to tolerate me feeling their “ extremely unreasonable and disrespectful” … After finding new counsel with difficultly, I compared their treatment with the treatment of the new counsel and felt that the way KBK handled my case was in an extremely unprofessional and unethical manner. I simply had to share my personal opinion with my experience. They wasted so much valuable time for a case that depended on my grandmother being able to remember clearly what happened in her injury. By the time we found new counsel, her dementia had progressed so much that the case lost significant value.
