Ended up with an overdue ticket because of him. I had a frivolous reckless driving ticket that he said we will go for a diversion for so that it completely stays off my record. At the court house he said that the prosecutors told him that they don‘t want to lose the case to a diversion and offered to give me a speeding ticket instead. He talked me into that option because the diversion would be a hassle for him and supposedly a hassle for me so its acceptance is on me. He told me I will receive one point on my license. He also told me to wait until I receive that ticket in the mail. Turns out both of those things were untrue. I never received anything in the mail and turns out I was supposed to go to court to pay the fine. I called the court to ask about the ticket I never received and they informed me that not only is it over due but also the judge had put in a traffic school option so I could have had that point hidden from my record but now I could not because it is too late and the deadline has past.

Ben is excellent. I had never been in trouble before and Ben was the first lawyer I ever needed to hire. He was realistic, non-judgmental, and took me from a bleak place to a hopeful place very quickly. He also kept me out of jail, and i cannot stress how vital that was. The process unfolded in exactly the way he prepared me for.
