Very nice store & selection. Not cheap, but good quality.
We have been customers of McLaughlin’s our whole married life (55 years) and have purchased almost all of our home furnishings there. We have always had excellent customer service, especially the last 10 years with Randy. He is absolutely the best! We recently purchased a new table for our kitchen. There was a slight concern that I could have learned to live with if I had to, but didn’t want to especially for the price of the table. Al Fraser, the manager, went above and beyond to make it right, having the table fixed at their expense. We are beyond satisfied and will remain loyal customers.
The furniture is very nice looking, but the customer service is terrible! There where 3 salesman on the floor one reading a newspaper, one on the phone checking their email and another helping 3 different other families. Even if you do make an appointment there still would be a 30 min wait time. When my family and I did receive help we didn’t have as much attention time or patience as the other families did. As much money my family would’ve been spending at this place I would’ve expected the equal amount of respect but I didn’t. Thanks Randy for showing my family and I what customer service shouldn’t look like my family and I won’t be returning!
Randy was great. I am so pleased with my new Bradington Young Chippendale leather chair. Quality at a great price. Great delivery. So glad I stopped and shopped at McLaughlin's.
Great quality, horrendous customer service! It’s really too bad that the manager, Al Frazier, was so rude and unaccommodating, as he has lost his salesman future commission. We ordered a table and chair set. The company made it wrong, it was written up correctly. We asked that since it took four months to get in the first place and it was wrong, then another two months, would they take some money off. Nope. Al actually yelled at me over the phone. It’s not my fault they have a small profit margin, you do what you need to do in order to keep customers. We own a business and yes, sometimes we have to swallow a little to keep people happy. It’s what you do as a manager/business owner. Al was so disgustingly rude to me that I will gladly take all future purchases elsewhere. Beware.
