My attorney Ms Schoenberg was very knowledgeable and responsive to my questions. She listened to my requests, helped guide me forward in a difficult divorce and custody agreement. I hired Debra in 2022 to represent me in my divorce and custody case. It was a long road - my ex was fighting every proposal we put forward. This Schoenberg law firm was a disaster after only 60 days. I provided the settlement agreement... I provided all the financial information... I provided all the support for my position on my small business. Somehow I was charged $20,500 for admin work in only 60 days. It should have been $5,000 max as my attorney had only two brief conversations with my wife's attorney. I asked for a reduction in fees and was completely ignored. I am a Berkeley grad, have been in business for over 40 years, and have never felt so taken advantage of in all my dealings. Their desire was for me to spend $300,000 for a relatively simple divorce.
