Mrs. Nations was my property manager and for 5 years she took very good care of my home. Constant communications and updates and ensuring the best tenants in my home at all times. My home was in the best shape everytime and as soon as I was ready to sell my home, it was off the market within a week. Thank you Somers and Associates.

A number of years ago my daughter Elizabeth Riehm and I purchased Valerie's law office at 779 8th Avenue. We were desperate for a place because we had waited two months for an answer on an offer on a Madden Real Estate property. It was late in the summer and we needed a place quickly. Doug Somers advised us of this property and that it had been listed previously for 300,000 and was just dropped from 250,000 to 200,000. We were not allowed but a few minutes to view the property because it was occupied by her office and a tenant. We could not touch things to see if they worked and were rushed through the property. We were then informed two other offers were being made on the home and if we wanted it, we had to go ahead and make an offer for the full price without the benefit of seeing the utility report. We were told there was one but it was not available and even though we were making the purchase as a VA loan we would have to put down $10,000. This seemed questionable to me. We again asked for the utility report and were advised that they should have it shortly. Well we made the offer and several days later received a utility report of $16,687. We were not advised by Doug Somers that we could rescind our offer without forfeiting our $10,000 down payment. It turns out that a deck in the back had been rebuilt and was totally rotten. It had been camouflaged with tar paper so that we could not see the state of disrepair. We were told that all freeze issues had been resolved. The house froze up within 30 days. A nail had been driven through the floor installing the hardwood flooring into the radiant hoses beneath. Damages to the house were in excess of $10,000 for that freeze up. Everything that I have seen or heard of Valerie Therrien has been totally unethical. I would not recommend my worst enemy do business with Valerie Therrien nor Doug Somers.

Kristen Maddox is managing my property and I could not be happier! She does and excellent job of keeping me in the loop with any issues. She is very patient and understanding. I have 100% confidence in her abilities to make decisions that improve my property or to solve an issues!

I bought my house through this realtor and didn't have any issues with them. I primarily dealt with Traci and Taylor, and they seemed pretty good to me.

After my experience with this property management company I can truly say some of the people that work here do not care about their tenants. My family and I are left homeless because of the lack communication and lack of effort put forth by the property manager we were dealing with. Had I known the property I was supposed to be moving into was unlivable I would have not moved my family out of our old place. We are now without a place to stay and the property manager put no effort to help us find a suitable place, just wrote us a check for what $$ we put down for the place. If you want a property manager who cares about your living situation, I suggest renting with a different company.
