Reviews

Went to the B101 office to pick up my prize, which was a onesie for the "What will it bee?" contest. I was overjoyed. Front desk girl was very nice!
Had a job interview online via Skype seems like a scam. No video just all text. When I said I would come up to the office to do on boarding paperwork and sign it there. The lady said we don't do that. Sounds fishy. Wish there was away to send an email to hr dept. And see this was a real gig or not...
They are the only large financial institution headquartered in the Philadelphia area. I worked for under a year. Although the pay is decent, the work is far from interesting. Technical infrastructure is legacy and inconsistent. Some parts of the system were written in high standards; while others might be pieces of trash. Traders are treated as first-class citizens, then quants, and technology staff are treated as a cost center. Although people are generally nice to each other, you do feel it from time to time. Also, as a developer, you aren't going to get a share of the pnl of your strategy. Although there's limited downside, the upside is also severely limited when compared to other places. Overall not a great place to work, although you'd have no other choice if you're stuck in Philly.
Great place to work. Can change career path by intra-business transfer. Good incentive, good salary, good bonus, free food, good carrier opportunity for smart people. You need to be dynamic and energetic to work here. No designations, all are just contributor in the success of the company future.
You should not trust a loan shark which will make you bankrupt.
