I was very nervous, actually quite terrified and shaking, when I first made a call to Neil Crane's office. It was May 2020, and after struggling to pay down my debt for 10+ years, the pandemic finally put me over the edge when my husband was laid off from his job and he was no longer able to assist me financially with my debts, and I was now responsible for 100% of our joint expenses. I had spent so many years already crying when I would go to pay my bills, because there was never any money left over, and no end in sight. I would always pay far more than the minimum on my bills, hoping to get everything paid off sooner, but everything still piled up despite my absolute best efforts. One call to Attorney Crane's office, and I felt a massive weight lifted off my shoulders. Attorney Crane was understanding, easy to talk to, explained everything I needed to know and laid out my options.
