This is probably one of the most significant decisions of my life, ie. to prepare my final arrangements. As bizarre as it may sound, approximately fifteen years-ago, my husband and I did make what we thought were all the necessary arrangements, a Will, POA and a Trust. I was mistaken, my documents were legal, but they did not represent my wants and needs. I retained Colleen Bratkovich of Zacharia Brown PC law firm to help me navigate medical assistance for my fathers long term care. The process was overwhelming and finding information and help was impossible. Colleen was able to navigate for me, answer my questions so that I knew what I needed to do and when necessary, get extensions to deadlines. She worked with the County and the assisted living facility so that I didn't need to and could spend the time actually pulling the endless documents together.
