Kevin Steinberg’s passion and commitment to protecting and fighting for the rights of injured victims comes from 30 years of professional experience, as well as his own personal experience. Early in his legal career, Mr. Steinberg was involved in a serious motor vehicle collision where he sustained permanent injuries to his lower back and knees. Prior to founding the KBS Injury Law Group, Mr. Steinberg was Co-Founder and Partner of the Fighting for People Injury Law Group. Before that, he had the unique opportunity of managing the Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Departments as a partner and senior associate in two (2) prominent Center City Philadelphia insurance defense litigation firms. This experience gave him a unique and intimate understanding of the defensive mentality and mindset, which has given him a solid understanding of the manner that insurance defense firms and their attorneys handle and try personal injury cases. This has also enabled him to effectively represent and advise his clients to ensure that they obtain the damages and recoveries to which they are rightfully entitled. Mr. Steinberg uses his years of experience as a litigator and trial lawyer to oversee and supervise the Firm’s legal team to ensure that all of the Firm’s files are properly managed and the Clients are well informed about the developments of their case. He is directly responsible for handling all of the firm’s pre-trial and trial casework; he conducts depositions, navigates complicated discovery issues, handles arbitrations and mediations, and more. He is also responsible for handling and trying all of the firm’s workers’ compensation cases where he only represents the rights of injured workers. As an advocate for injured people, Mr. Steinberg uses his legal knowledge and skill to ensure that all of the firm’s resources are dedicated to the needs of those injured by other people’s negligence and carelessness. In his free time, Mr. Steinberg takes pride in being an active member of his community. He and his wife, Wendy, have been married for over 25 years. They have four boys who are all involved in multiple sports leagues and organizations. He has devoted the last 18 years volunteering his time as a coach for his boys’ baseball, soccer, and basketball teams, and he has served as a Board Member for several community sports organizations, which he consistently did for almost 2 decades.

Michael Cancelliere has been in the legal profession for 35 years. From 1982 to 1985, Michael worked as a Paralegal gaining very valuable practical experience in the practice of personal injury litigation. Michael attended Temple University School of Law’s four (4) year Evening Division Program while continuing to work as a full time Paralegal/Law Clerk. Since receiving his degree, Michael has continuously practiced law protecting the rights of plaintiffs. He is an experienced litigator and trial attorney. During his career, Michael has represented plaintiffs in very complex cases, including a victim of the tragic collapse of Pier 34 in Philadelphia. He has had jury trials in numerous counties throughout the Philadelphia area and has obtained substantial verdicts for his clients. Jerry M. Lehocky is a partner at Pond Lehocky Giordano, LLP. Mr. Lehocky has been a litigator of workers' compensation and Social Security since being admitted to practice in 1985. Initially, his practice involved representing employers and insurance companies. In 1991, Mr. Lehocky began representing claimants exclusively in the areas of workers' compensation and Social Security disability. A former chairman of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Workers' Compensation Section (for 12 consecutive years), Mr. Lehocky served as a consultant to several Pennsylvania governors as well as numerous state senators and representatives on workers' compensation issues. He co-authored “House Bill 2738,” which created the Uninsured Employers Guaranty Fund. This fund provides workers' compensation benefits to injured workers whose employers do not carry workers' compensation insurance. The bill was signed into law by Governor Rendell on November 9, 2006, and was the first piece of workers' compensation legislation in favor of injured workers to become law in over 30 years.
