Gregory A. Miller was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1969. He was admitted to practice law in Indiana in 1997. He attended college at Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne and earned a bachelor's degree in Public Administration in 1992. He attended The Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he served as Managing Associate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. He earned his law degree in 1996. He is currently serving part-time as a public defender for juvenile delinquency and mental health cases for the Allen County Public Defender's Office. He formerly worked as a part-time public defender in the Allen County Misdemeanor Court.
