About James
Jim Pikala practices primarily in the area of workers' compensation and has done so since 1980. He represents insured and self-insured clients before the Office of Administrative Hearings, the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals and the Minnesota Supreme Court. Jim has lectured extensively on the subject of workers' compensation and has been a contributing author to the Workers' Compensation Deskbook. He has acted as chairperson and presenter of Continuing Legal Education seminars for many years. He has tried hundreds of cases at the Office of Administrative Hearings and has orally argued numerous cases before the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals and the Minnesota Supreme Court. Jim has been selected as a Minnesota "Super Lawyer" for the past several years by Law & Politics.
