I make a difference by helping individuals whom don't have many financial resources. I do pro-bono work and offer payment plans. It is extremely fulfilling to help people who are in financial distress get their lives back on track.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?When looking for an attorney, you should look for someone with a lot of EXPERIENCE. You also want to choose an attorney who truly cares about their client's best interest and will fight for them till the end. This is what I have to offer
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?Local knowledge is one of the most important factors in the success of my cases. In fact, it might be the most important factor. Local knowledge is a necessity to successfully handle any case. I have a great amount of experience and knowledge in Mecklenburg County.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?With a free phone consultation, I can suggest potential defenses to your case, detail my experience, explain any potential punishments or outcomes to the case, and explain my payment plan options.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?During the free phone consultation, I will need a basic description of the facts of the case, some background information on the client, and of course, contact information.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?What differentiates me from the other lawyers in this community is my 20+ years of experience. Also I only focus on criminal defense. I don't dabble in other practice areas. My sole focus is criminal defense. In addition, Mecklenburg County is the only county I go to. Because of this unique factor, I have a good relationship with all of the judges and DA's. Furthermore, I'm the only attorney handling the case and I will handle it from beginning till end. It will not be passed off to a less-experienced associate.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?The most rewarding aspect of my job is the chance to help someone when they really need a break. When someone makes a mistake and they deserve a second chance, I have the ability to help them get that second chance so that the mistake doesn't follow them for the rest of their life.
What are your other interests in addition to law?When I am not practicing law, I enjoy watching sports and travelling. I am passionate about music and I love spending my time with my dog, Cash.
