John G. Hofmann graduated from the University of Virginia in 1993. After university, he taught English in Fukui, Japan for three years, and then worked in the hospitality industry in Sydney, Australia for one and a half years.
John attended the Boston University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, in 2002. After graduation, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Late Honorable John H. Mason of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. He was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in December, 2002.
John worked at a small firm in Boston, and then joined Gilman, McLaughlin & Hanrahan LLP in 2005. His practice is concentrated in civil litigation, with particular emphasis on employment law and real estate issues. He has experience representing and counseling automobile dealerships; and regularly handles professional licensing issues, landlord-tenant matters, copyright enforcement and federal trademark applications.
He currently resides in Newton, Massachusetts.
