About John
John Malone is a Partner at Tetzel Law, LLC. He began working at the firm soon after it was founded and has been an integral part of the firm’s growth. He has considerable experience in all stages of litigation, including trial practice where he has achieved jury verdicts for his clients. John has represented clients in an array of complex civil matters, including contract disputes, consumer protection statute (G.L. c. 93A) violations, wrongful insurance claim denials, insurance coverage disputes, premises liability, product liability, professional malpractice, nursing home negligence and wrongful death.
John lives in Boston and grew up in Walpole, Massachusetts where he went to high school. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. At Bentley University, John had success in both academics and athletics as he graduated Cum Laude and captained the football team in his senior season. In addition, he was selected to the Northeast-10 All-Academic Team three years in a row, the ESPN Academic Northeast All-American Team twice and the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society in his final season.
John attended Suffolk University Law School in the evening division where he thrived academically while working full-time during his entire school career as a law clerk. John is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the State and Federal levels as well as in the State of Rhode Island. He is member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, Massachusetts Bar Association and Rhode Island Bar Association.
In the community, John is an “Innbassador” for the Pine Street Inn where he volunteers his time along with a group of professionals to aid in the mission of ending homelessness in the Boston area.
