About Kevin
Kevin R. Powers' practice includes Products Liability, Toxic Tort, and Business Litigation.
Prior to joining Cetrulo & Capone, Mr. Powers worked as an associate at a Boston law firm specializing in business litigation. Mr. Powers also worked for a large national firm in Washington, DC, focusing on complex ERISA litigation.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Powers served in the US Navy's Judge Advocate General's Corps. While in the Navy, Mr. Powers was first stationed in Seattle, Washington, as a Naval criminal defense attorney. Mr. Powers then went on to serve as the Deputy General Counsel for the US Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland. In that position, Mr. Powers was also a Special Assistant US Attorney for the US Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland, and an Adjunct Professor in International and Criminal Law at the Naval Academy. Currently, Mr. Powers is a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserves, teaching trial advocacy at the Naval Justice School in Newport, Rhode Island. Mr. Powers' military personal awards include two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals and a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Mr. Powers is also authorized to wear the National Defense Service Medal and Global War On Terror Service Medal.
