Reina Resnik received her Bachelor’s degree in English literature, from University of California, Los Angeles in 1986. Ms. Resnik received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School in 1991. Ms. Resnik is currently a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and California Employment Law Association. Admitted to practice law by the State Bar of California in 1992. She speaks Spanish and Hebrew and is actively involved in various cultural and charitable organizations in Los Angeles County.

Karen Jacobs has been practicing law for almost 20 years. She graduated from Loyola Law School and has been trained as a mediator. Prior to becoming a plaintiffs' attorney, Karen Jacobs was in-house counsel for one of the largest insurance companies in Southern California, giving her insight into how cases are evaluated and making her uniquely positioned to get the highest possible settlement for her clients. Karen has been a vocal advocate for clients in all phases of litigation. As a result of her skill and tenacity, she has a very high trial success rate. In her spare time Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and children and doing probono legal work for underprivileged children, the elderly, and immigrant families.

I grew up in Napa, California and retain strong family ties there. I raised my family in Southern California and as a result I am now a Southern California Transplant. I graduated from Occidental College in 1993 with a degree in Politics and gained sales and management experience for four years prior to enrolling in Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1997. I earned my Juris Doctorate from Loyola in 2001 and graduated in the top 10% of my division. I have been a civil litigator my entire career, conducting over 2000 bench trials and more than 350 of these in probate court alone. I have been victorious in well over 95% of these trials, recovering hundreds of millions of dollars for my clients. As I move to my mid 50’s, my children are pretty much all grown, my life is stable, and I am focused on providing excellent, high quality, and focused attention to individualized cases where I believe I can truly make a difference. Itamar "Eddie" Tehrani, founder of State Law Firm, worked his way up the chain of command in several different law offices in Los Angeles.
