About Michael
Mike Beard is a partner at the law firm of Marsh, Rickard & Bryan, P.C., where his practice centers on products liability, business and medical-related torts. Mike has been listed in the last two editions of Woodward & White's Best Lawyers of America.
Mike Beard received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his law degree, magna cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law in 1980. While in law school, he was elected to the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and Curia Honoris.
Mike is the author of "The Impact of Changes in the Health Care Provider Reimbursement Systems on the Recovery of Damages for Medical Expenses in Personal Injury Suits," which appeared in the Spring 1998 issue of The American Journal of Trial Advocacy.
He is a member of the Alabama Association for Justice; the American Association for Justice; and the Birmingham, Alabama State, and American Bar Associations.
