About Michelle
Michelle Ogborne concentrates her practice on product liability defense with a focus on complex discovery matters. She works closely with partners at the firm on many aspects of the discovery process including preparation of discovery responses and coordination of document production with a focus on avoiding inconsistencies that may leave her clients vulnerable to sanctions or adverse rulings. When necessary, she also prepares discovery motions and works with plaintiffs' and local counsel to resolve discovery disputes.
While in law school, Michelle clerked for the Scottsdale Unified School District and ASU's Office of General Counsel, where she focused on Open Meetings and Public Records law, Title IX and First Amendment issues. Michelle was also a student-attorney for the Arizona State University Civil Justice Clinic, where she assisted indigent clients with a variety of legal issues.
Prior to law school, Michelle served as Director of a domestic violence shelter, where she managed daily operations, monitored grant compliance, served as a shelter representative on the Domestic Violence Collaborator's Committee and chaired the Legal and Resource Subcommittees.
When not practicing law, Michelle enjoys running, reading and traveling.
