Diana has been a mediator for twelve years, since 2012. She has helped hundreds of couples resolve their divorce and custody conflicts through mediation, without the extra cost, delay, and emotional trauma of litigation. Diana is also an attorney and has represented people in family law cases, including divorce, custody, and paternity matters, for 30 years. She is intimately familiar with the law, courtroom procedure, judges and litigation. Diana is also skilled at diplomatic negotiation, and has resolved countless cases over the past 30 years as an attorney, through mediation. She was a founding partner of "Huntsman, Lofgran, Walton, PLLC, where she has led her firm in practicing law since 2005. She is presently of counsel with HLW, having retired from litigation in March, 2024. Whether helping a couple as a mediator, or representing a person as an attorney, Diana enjoys helping others find hope and resolution in difficult times -- divorce being one of the hardest things a person may face. Prior to becoming a family law attorney, Attorney James H. Woodall earned a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering and worked for several years in the offshore oil industry. Looking for a more competitive work environment, Mr. Woodall attended law school at the University of Utah. He graduated second in his class. Mr. Woodall was Managing Editor of the Utah Law Review. He was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 1988 and clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has practiced law in Utah, Nevada, Colorado, and Wyoming. Mr. Woodall limits his practice to family law, from uncontested divorces to highly complicated matters involving issues such as child custody, alimony, and child support. Mr. Woodall’s over 30 years of experience make him a formidable attorney in the courtroom and a knowledgeable advocate. He has substantial experience in complex divorce matters including high-asset and high-income cases. His attention to detail is paralleled by few. Mr. Woodall enjoys working – he works holidays and weekends. On Fridays, he is known to quip, “just two more workdays until Monday.” Mr. Woodall retired from the Utah National Guard at the rank of Colonel after 22 years of service. He is intimately familiar with issues unique to military divorces and military retirement. Mr. Woodall continues to serve military service members.

Attorney Brad Carr graduated from Baylor Law School on a full-tuition academic scholarship. Baylor is consistently ranked by US News as one of the top three schools in the nation for trial advocacy. During his time there, he participated in Baylor’s nationally recognized practice court program and received several awards for trial advocacy. Mr. Carr’s practice focuses on family law and landlord representation. He has handled dozens of bench trials, jury trials, hundreds of hearings, and filed thousands of motions. He is the managing attorney at Carr | Woodall and operates the firm with the idea that attorneys should be driven by their own personal desire to achieve the best outcome for their clients rather than a law firm’s financial gain. In fact, unlike most other law firms in the state, the attorneys at Carr | Woodall have no billing quotas. The only expectation is for each attorney to meet his or her client’s expectations. Utah has a large market of self-employed individuals. Mr. Carr has represented many clients with family-owned businesses worth millions and even tens of millions of dollars. He has worked with forensic accounting experts to value these businesses. As the managing attorney of Carr | Woodall, he is also self-employed and manages all of the finances for the law firm.
