Chester L. Banks is a general practice attorney throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Chester routinely provides strategic legal counsel to business owners, government agencies, elected officials, professional athletes, entrepreneurs and the general public. He is the sole owner of BANKS & ASSOCIATES and a member of the Virginia Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Chester is also a member of the Sports Lawyers Association. Each week, Chester and his practice preserve financial assets and protect futures as individuals and their families navigate divorce and custody transitions, criminal and traffic matters and civil litigation procedures. His practice offers a comprehensive range of services from advice and counseling on the most sophisticated and complex business and legal issues to negotiating agreements, mediating disputes and personal injury litigation. In 2012, the Judges of the Prince William County Circuit Court awarded its Trial Attorney of Year Award to Chester. He attended Chowan College and graduated in 1979 with his Associate of the Arts. Chester proceeded to earn a double Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Religious Studies in 1981 from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. His Master’s degree was awarded in 1982 in Public Administration from Golden Gate University located in San Francisco, California. In May of 1987 Chester graduated from George Mason University School of Law with his Jury’s Doctorate. His experience also includes holding a prestigious position on the admissions committee for George Mason University Schools of Law.

Corey Pollard is the managing partner of Jenkins Block & Associates‘ Richmond office and heads the Virginia Workers’ Compensation department of the firm. Mr. Pollard focuses his practice on representing individuals who have suffered injuries at work or through the fault of others, including car accident, motorcycle wreck, construction accident, medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. And when these personal injuries and other medical conditions lead to problems in the workplace or permanent health impairments, Mr. Pollard helps individuals obtain the monetary awards they deserve through state and federal employment law and Social Security Disability. Born and raised in Newport News, Virginia, Mr. Pollard grew up in a construction family. A graduate of Menchville High School, where he was a Virginia High School League (VHSL) State Champion in Swimming, Mr. Pollard earned his Bachelor’s Degree with honors from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. While in college, Mr. Pollard was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity. Mr. Pollard obtained his J.D. with honors from the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Pollard was selected as a member of the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public and Interest. He was also selected as member of the school’s Client Counseling & Negotiation Board after winning the Environmental Negotiation Competition in 2007. Prior to joining Jenkins Block & Associates, Mr. Pollard worked as an insurance defense attorney where he gained valuable experience and training while representing many of the nation’s largest employers and insurance carriers. Now he uses that experience to represent individuals who sustained personal injuries and disability and to fight back against insurance companies and their tactics. Mr. Pollard’s wife, Leigh, is a Human Resources Manager who provides “real world” advice and insight on employment and labor law matters. The Pollards have two children, Knox and Rivers, who keep them busy and running around, and a 5-pound dog named Simba. They are members of Bon Air Baptist Church. In his spare time, Mr. Pollard enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and playing pickup basketball and golf. When he is in the mood for punishment, he roots for his favorite football team, the Washington Redskins.
