After graduating from Bishop Verot High School in 1992, I went on to receive my undergraduate degree from The Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. I completed law school in 1999 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in April of 2000. I began my professional career at the local State Attorney's Office, prosecuting numerous misdemeanor and felony cases. I first handled misdemeanor cases in Charlotte County, including misdemeanor DUI's, domestic violence batteries, petit thefts, driver's license offenses, and fish and game violations. I tried dozens of cases in Charlotte County and eventually took over the juvenile prosecutor's position before moving to take on felony matters in Fort Myers. After three years gaining experience and perfecting my trial skills at the State Attorney's office, together with my partner, I established the criminal defense firm of Aiken & O'Halloran.
