About Peter
PETER L. CARR, IV became an associate at Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt in 2009. He specializes in civil litigation, civil rights, and general liability.
Mr. Carr is a "Triple-Bruin" having received three degrees from UCLA. He received his undergraduate degree in Sociology in 2003, and his MA and JD degrees in 2007 after graduating from UCLA School of Law's joint degree program with the Bunche Center for African American Studies.
At UCLA, Mr. Carr helped re-instate the Black Graduate Students Association, revived the National Black Law Journal at the law school, served as the co-chair of the Black Law Students Association, and was a member of several other boards.
While in law school, Mr. Carr clerked at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Hadsell & Stormer. He also represented several clients in wage and hour hearings during a year-long trial advocacy program.
