No Cost for Consultation It doesn’t cost you anything but a little time to talk to me about any of these situations. I do many types of cases on a flat fee basis so you know what your legal fees will be. Payment Plans Available In other situations, I offer payment plans. I try to make legal services available to the average person, and will work with you to accommodate your situation.

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I helped a disabled veteran from Mississippi release a hold in Colorado from an old DUI case that was preventing him from getting a license in his home state. It took 6 months and a lot of personal intervention with the local District Attorneys Office and Court, but I got the hold lifted and client reinstated license. I was delighted I could help him.
How did you build a successful practice?
When the time came to start my own business, I associated with some good people and got a lot of good advice. There is the legal side and the business side to running your own practice and the people I associated with helped me with both.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Someone who feels he can make a difference in their case.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Extremely. What's "doable" in one jurisdiction, may not be in the one next door.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
We can talk about the parameters of their issue and any deadlines that may be ticking.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
Depends on the issue, but the party should have any documents relating to issue in front of them when they call.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I'm a solo practitioner who tries to make legal services affordable to average people.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
I am extremely gratified when I've made a positive difference outcome of a person's legal matter.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
I enjoy the great outdoors in Colorado, hiking and camping.
Are you involved in your community?
I try to help low income and indigent people through pro bono work. I also serve on the City of Aurora Public Defender Commission, overseeing the activities of the Public Defender Office serving indigent citizens of the City of Aurora, Colorado.
