Andrew Bizer is the founding Partner at Bizer & DeReus and is admitted to practice law in Louisiana and New York. Andrew graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2003 and Tulane University in 1997. He has been advocating for the rights of the disabled since 2010. He has successfully litigated hundreds of cases under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Garret S. DeReus is an experienced civil rights and personal injury attorney with over a decade of litigation experience. As a partner at Bizer & DeReus, Mr. DeReus has dedicated his career to litigation and advocating for individuals whose rights have been violated. Mr. DeReus handles civil rights cases, personal injury claims, nursing home abuse, and medical malpractice. He has successfully handled more than 500 civil rights cases and has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, from pre-litigation development through appellate work. His civil rights practice encompasses prisoner rights, disability rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act, excessive force, education access, and government accountability cases. Mr. DeReus serves as lead counsel in high-stakes federal litigation and has secured significant victories at both the trial and appellate levels. Notable achievements include successful appeals to the Fifth, Ninth, and Tenth Circuits, with the Tenth Circuit establishing favorable precedent regarding the repeated violations doctrine in a Title II ADA case. In January 2024, Mr. DeReus first-chaired a federal jury trial in a First Amendment case that resulted in a plaintiff verdict, securing $205,000 in damages. Mr. DeReus has successfully opposed challenges from major corporations, including a groundbreaking ADA case against Uber Technologies for wheelchair accessibility. He has negotiated over 200 settlements, consent decrees, and judgments, including systemic changes to New Orleans' public transportation system that made the historic St. Charles Avenue Streetcar accessible to wheelchair users. Mr. DeReus earned his J.D. from Tulane Law School in 2013 as a Dean's Scholarship Recipient and his B.B.A. from The George Washington University in 2010, graduating summa cum laude.

Eva has dedicated her legal practice to advocating for Louisiana’s most vulnerable residents. She graduated from Barnard College in 2016 and Tulane Law School in 2021. She began her career in legal aid as a staff attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services where she represented survivors of intimate partner violence in civil cases in Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes. She then worked at Louisiana Fair Housing Action Center representing tenants facing eviction in Orleans Parish. She is excited to bring her passion for social justice and civil rights to Bizer & DeReus. In her free time she enjoys walking her dog Joni along Bayou St. John and cooking meals for her friends.

Chip Cossé is a highly accomplished personal injury attorney who founded the Cossé Law Firm in 2013, has tried numerous jury and bench trials across multiple states, maintains a national practice in tire defect litigation, and is passionate about advocating for his clients’ rights. A member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, only granted to a small percentage of attorneys that have been the lead attorney resolving one or more cases for at least $2,000,000 Chip Cossé graduated from the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at LSU in 1994 and thereafter was partners with his father for 19 years, gaining extensive jury trial experience across a wide range of practice areas. In 2013, he founded the Cossé Law Firm on the premise that he would create the best personal injury law firm possible; a firm that would make its clients proud to have them as their attorneys. For nearly 30 years, Chip has tried numerous jury and bench trials in multiple states, handling auto accident cases, as well as complex litigation involving products liability and traumatic brain injuries. He is licensed in Louisiana and has been admitted pro hac vice in Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia. He maintains a national practice in the area of tire defect litigation and has successfully handled cases against Continental, Michelin, BF Goodrich and Cooper tire companies. Chip graduated from Metairie Park Country Day School in 1987, having served as its class President for all four years of high school and attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas on an academic scholarship. He returned home after two years to finish his undergraduate degree at LSU, majoring in history and minoring in French. Chip is the proud father of two daughters, one of whom that plans to be the third generation Cossé lawyer. Chip is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Louisiana Association for Justice. He is admitted to practice in every state court in Louisiana, in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and in the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans.

Miguel Abraham Elias is an aggressive litigation attorney with strong leadership, vast trial experience, and excellent negotiation skills. Born in Puerto Rico and half Cuban, Miguel is fully bilingual in both English and Spanish. Miguel left Puerto Rico when he was fifteen years old to study at Monteverde High School near Orlando, Florida. He then attended Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana, graduating in May of 1994 with a Bachelor in Business Administration and a concentration in Management and Marketing. He went on to pursue a law degree at Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate in Common Law with Civil Certificate in May of 1997. In 1998, Miguel received his license from the Louisiana Supreme Court and began his practice as an associate at the Law Office of Neville G. Orrett, where he had previously worked as a paralegal. He was quickly promoted to named partner. He continued his practice at the Law Office of Orrett & Elias for two years. In the year 2000, Miguel opened his own practice- Miguel A. Elias, APLC. Since then, his office has served clients of all nationalities and throughout the State of Louisiana. His practice continues to be at the forefront of professional and excellent legal representation. A native of New Orleans, Evan Breaux is the son of Darryl Breaux. Since his youth, Evan has known that he wanted to be an attorney like his father, Darryl, and his maternal grandfather, the late Clifford P. de Laup, Jr. While earning his Business Management degree at the University of New Orleans, Mr. Breaux worked part-time for his father, thus beginning his experience in the field of personal injury law. Mr. Breaux then worked as a law clerk for a Baton Rouge mixed litigation firm with a concentration in personal injury during his law school years. Soon after obtaining his Louisiana Bar license, Evan began working as an Associate Attorney at a well-known, large personal injury firm in New Orleans. Evan gained valuable experience at that law firm, and in January of 2017, he joined the law office of Darryl Breaux & Associates, creating one of New Orleans’ only father-son personal injury law firms. Kevin Riché is a lifelong resident of South Louisiana. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (History) degree from Louisiana State University, followed by Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees from the LSU Paul Hebert Law Center, where he graduated with honors and received multiple academic and trial advocacy awards.​ ​​ Kevin has over 10 years of litigation and trial experience throughout Louisiana. Eugene Redmann is a lifelong resident of New Orleans. After attending Jesuit High School for two years, Gene graduated from O. Perry Walker High School in 1976. Gene worked in private business and then received a degree in accounting from Loyola University in 1988. He entered Loyola University School of Law in 1988 and graduated in 1991. Gene began clerking at the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans as a junior in law school in 1990 for the Honorable Gerald P. Fedoroff and continued there until 1992. Gene then went in to private practice, where he continues today. Gene comes from a distinguished line of lawyers. His father, the Honorable William V. Redmann, was a Court of Appeal Judge in New Orleans from 1967 until 1987 when he retired as Chief Judge due to health reasons. Two of Gene’s eight siblings are lawyers. More than 40 of Gene’s extended family are lawyers in the New Orleans area. Gene has been in private practice for the past 20 years. He has a wide practice, including personal injury, criminal and DWI cases and many traffic offense cases. Additionally, Gene handles divorce and family cases, civil matters and expungement of criminal records.
