About Robert
Bob has represented individuals and businesses generally and concerning a myriad of issues and disputes. He has advised families, executors, and trustees concerning the settlement of estates. He has also organized and counseled start-up and established corporations and other business entities of all sizes, prepared simple wills and trusts as well as complex estate plans, litigated personal and business matters, represented buyers, sellers, and lenders in residential real estate and leasing transactions, represented investors purchasing multifamily buildings in transactions exceeding $20 million, prepared small-business leases and anchor leases for national chains.
For many years Bob was chief legal officer (General Counsel) to a company with over 13,000 employees and at one point was the largest supermarket chain in New England.
Bob graduated from Brookline High School when it was named the best public secondary school in the United States; received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College in Waterville Maine, a Doctor of Laws degree from the Boston University School of Law, which school was recently chosen among the top 10 (and in certain years the top 5) law schools in the USA. At B.U. Law School he was appointed to Law Review, (the honor society at law schools),and after graduating, while in the full-time practice of law, Bob obtained a masters degree from B.U. Law School.
Approximately 10 years ago, Bob established a law office in his home, physically apart from the residential portion of his home, which he equipped with the most current computers and software, telephones, fax, e-mail, copying and research equipment, providing him facilities of most law firms.
Bob is a dedicated athlete finding time to play vigorous and highly skilled tennis 3 to 4 times per week.
