Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I recently filed a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy for a local Community Health Center and Clinic that served individuals who were uninsured. The Health Center served the indigent population for free along with the homeless and those suffering from HIV and Aids. The Health Center encountered financial hardships causing it to limit its hours of operation and cut a number of its vital services. The Health Center was in desperate need of restructuring its finances in order to avoid shutting its doors. I filed a Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the Health Center and now the Health Center is restructured and reorganized and back in business serving a community that desperately needed obtainable medical services.
How did you build a successful practice?
I built a successful practice by listening to my client's needs, analyzing their legal issues, providing competent solutions and fighting hard for my clients to obtain positive resolutions to their issues.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Clients should look for lawyer who is competent and caring but also who listens to their needs and will fight for their rights.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Local knowledge and success are key to my cases as a bankruptcy attorney must know the local Bankruptcy Judges, Trustees, Local Rules and local customs of each Bankruptcy Court in order to be successful. If an attorney does not know the local Judges or Trustees in their jurisdiction than I recommend the consumer/potential client should look elsewhere.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is that I provide individuals with a second chance. A ""Fresh Start"". When individuals leave my office they often say that I have lifted a heavy burden and now they can sleep at night.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
I am interested in religion and the Bible, sports, politics and Justice for all.
