Ronald A. Gorrie was admitted to practice law in the State of California on December 19, 1995 and is a member in good standing of the State Bar of California. On May 18, 1998, Mr. Gorrie was admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In addition, Mr. Gorrie provides a range of services for his business clients including forming corporations, drafting construction contracts and advising clients on developing areas of the law. Mr. Gorrie began his legal career at Mahaffey & Associates located in Irvine, California where he worked as an associate for one year. Mr. Gorrie then joined the law firm of Anderson, Ablon, Lewis & Gale LLP, in Los Angeles, California where he focused primarily on business litigation including partnership dissolutions, construction defect law, employment law, and title insurance law.
On September 1, 2000, Mr. Gorrie opened the Law Offices of Ronald A. Gorrie in Orange County, California, where he practiced in the areas of general civil litigation, business law, bankruptcy, family law and personal injury.
In 2015, Mr. Gorrie and Paul Jacobson formed the law partnership of Jacobson & Gorrie. Their firm practices Accident & Injury Law, Divorce & Family Law, Employment Law, Estate Law, and Bankruptcy & Debt Law.
Mr. Gorrie is a 1990 graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles where he was a political science major. He received his law degree in May, 1995 from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
