Zaira earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia College & State University. While earning her degree, she worked in the office of a solo practitioner in the metro Atlanta area. She gained valuable, hands-on experience in family law, criminal law, and worker’s compensation law prior to her legal education. Zaira worked for several firms throughout the Atlanta area while earning her law degree at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Zaira discovered her passion for immigration during law school. Later in her training, she clerked at an immigration firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Zaira also worked in the Fulton County Public Defender’s Office in the Complex Case Division. In 2011, Zaira founded Solano Law Firm with a focus on immigration law to serve the Latino community. She believes in providing honest representation and educating clients throughout the process. Zaira Solano was raised in Weehawken, New Jersey in a tightly knit Dominican family. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. Zaira realized a childhood ambition when she became an attorney. She created a game plan and worked hard to achieve her goals. During her free time, Zaira loves to go to the beach with her husband and two dogs, Sasha and Sierra. She also enjoys spending time with family, reading, and going to concerts.

Keren Barrios, originally from Guatemala City, embarked on a life-changing journey when she moved to the United States at the age of 10, following a harrowing 13-day kidnapping experience. This ordeal ignited her passion for advocating for those in need and her commitment to justice. The turning point came during a trial, where Keren witnessed the transformative impact of a dedicated solicitor defending their case, vowing to echo that commitment for others. Keren’s educational journey began with her graduation from Central Gwinnett High School in 2005, at the remarkable age of 16. This early achievement laid the groundwork for her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Legal Track from Georgia State University in 2010, followed by her completion of law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall University in May 2013. Fueled by a deep desire to be a voice for the voiceless and to help others overcome obstacles, Keren is not only a lawyer but also an advocate for justice and mental health. Beyond the legal realm, she enjoys trying new recipes, reading, exploring interior design, discovering new restaurants, and cherishing moments with her family. In November 2013, Keren founded Barrios Virgüez Attorneys: Accident & Injury Law, starting with just one office and a single phone. The firm quickly outgrew its initial space, prompting a move to a second location in 2017, which also became insufficient as the firm expanded. By 2021, the firm found its current home and has since grown to a team of 40 employees, earning recognition as one of the fastest-growing law firms in Georgia. Keren’s unwavering focus remains on continued growth and providing the best possible service to her clients.

Jorge Virgüez, originally born in Venezuela, embarked on his journey in the United States at the age of 6. His passion for justice and commitment to assisting others led him to a fulfilling career in law, where he has had the privilege of helping thousands of individuals navigate the complexities of injury and immigration cases. Jorge’s journey in the legal field took shape during his time at Augusta State University (now Augusta University), where he played baseball on an athletic scholarship. Majoring in Political Science and Spanish laid the foundation for his later success in law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall University, where he crossed paths with his future wife, Keren. From sharing a single phone in a small office in 2013 to leading a team of over 40 individuals today, Jorge remains humbled by the growth and impact of their collective efforts. A member of the State Bar of Georgia, American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Georgia Hispanic Bar Association (GHBA), and Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), Jorge brings a wealth of legal expertise to every case. Beyond the legal realm, Jorge finds joy in sports, especially baseball, a passion rooted in his athletic scholarship days. For leisure, he enjoys traveling, exploring good restaurants, and cherishing moments with his children and wife. The genuine enjoyment Jorge finds in his work is further enhanced by the opportunity to build a law firm alongside his wife, Keren.

Erin Elliott is the managing attorney of Elliott Immigration Law LLC. She focuses her practice 100% on immigration law. She represents individuals, families and companies in obtaining various temporary visas such as fiancé, student, trainee, entrepreneur and employment as well as permanent immigration through family and employers. After attending Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, Erin continued her education at Loyola Law School in New Orleans. Upon her graduation from law school, Erin returned to Atlanta and began her career at a national law firm where she specialized in business and corporate law for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups. While assisting such clients, she became aware of the difficulties in obtaining and keeping foreign worker employees. Also during this time, Erin met her Turkish husband and was personally exposed to the green card and naturalization process. Based on her experiences, Erin opened her own law practice in 2011 to assist businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals in navigating the, often intimidating, U.S. immigration legal system. Erin is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and volunteers for Catholic Charities of Atlanta- Immigration Legal Services, Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and as a Guardian Ad Litem in Fulton County, Georgia.
