Tom Chute is a 1990 graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York and a 1993 graduate of DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. For more than three decades, Tom has tried numerous cases to verdict and obtained millions of dollars in settlements and awards on behalf of injured clients. Ben has 22 years of experience representing clients in serious personal injury matters, disputed property insurance claims and other civil matters where people have been damaged through various forms of bad behavior. He has also represented several insurance companies in state and federal litigation in Florida. He is admitted to practice in both Florida and New Jersey, where he first began practicing law after attending Rutgers University for both his law and undergraduate degrees. City of Jersey City, 2005 WL 2452698 (D.N.J. 2005) (denying summary judgment to police officers on plaintiff’s civil rights claims arising from an unlawful arrest) Ben was also honored to have been selected to defend a sitting Superior Court Judge in New Jersey against charges of misconduct brought by other members of the judiciary. The formal charges against her sought removal from the bench but after a trial before a panel of the New Jersey Supreme Court in Trenton, the charges were reduced to a two-month suspension. Ben moved to Pinellas County in 2018 and became a member of the Florida bar. He began practicing at a large downtown Tampa firm handling complex insurance coverage matters before joining the Magazine & Light Law Group (now Light & Wyatt) in 2022. As a litigator, John Q. Stoltze is proud to represent John Q. Public in any way he can, through trial and appeal. He passionately pursues his clients’ interests and tells it to them straight. Stephen grew up in Casper, Wyoming and spent much of his childhood working on his family’s ranch. He attended the University of Wyoming and received three Bachelors Degrees while making the Dean’s List. He then attended the University of Wyoming College of Law and received his Juris Doctorate in 2002. After being inducted into the Wyoming Bar Association and Colorado Bar Association, he and his wife, Julie, moved to Pueblo, Colorado. Stephen and Julie have been married for 26 years and have six children. Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and coaching children’s soccer. He is the President of the pueblo Rangers Soccer Club, which provides access to soccer programs for children of all ages, skill levels and financial means, including programs for children with special needs. Stephen has been practicing law since 2002, with a primary practice on workers’ compensation, personal injury, and social security. I first fell in love with the idea of becoming an attorney while watching fictional defense attorney Perry Mason on TV. Played by Raymond Burr, that character's no-nonsense attitude and his constant dedication to defending his clients struck a nerve. It's what made me want to commit to helping people with their legal needs. Inspired by the show, I decided to become an attorney. After attending historic Hampden-Sydney College and graduating in 1973, I attended law school at the University of Virginia, where I graduated in 1977. After being admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1979, I opened my practice in Lynchburg that same year. That's where I've been for almost 40 years, providing dedicated and personal legal representation to many people over the years, operating under the belief that every client is deserving of understanding and respect. One of the things that bring me the greatest amount of joy from my career is knowing how many people I've helped through some really tough circumstances in their life. Hiring an attorney can be a stressful thing, which is why I try to make it as easy as possible for them. I listen to the details of their case and do my best to make sure I have the story straight before I come up with an idea of how to pursue their case. Because I've been around a long time, I can usually find some parallel or similar cases to draw inspiration from — and if there's something I haven't heard yet, I'm pretty creative when it comes to forming a legal strategy.
