My hobbies include collecting sports memorabilia, spending far too many hours playing PC games & watching (and re-watching) tons of movies/TV shows. Among my favorite movies are The Godfather, The Departed, Goodfellas, Casino, The Dark Knight, Sin City, The Punisher, Tombstone, A Bronx Tale, The Devil's Advocate, and so on and so forth. Favorite TV shows include Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Sons of Anarchy, Homeland, Newsroom, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, and Game of Thrones. My hidden talent = pop culture trivia. I have a disturbing ability to recall obscure movie trivia, quotes, and Now, for the boring stuff! Growing up in the hills of southeast KY - an area that is known for many things, least of all technology - technology was (and is) scarce and far behind. At 10 years old, my fascination with technology began - my first computer. Dial-up internet was still new(ish) but once I discovered "the internet" a symbiotic bond formed & continues to grow to this day. I have been a loyal & dedicated advocate of all things technology since before the internet became the god-child that it is today. In 7th grade, I decided to be a lawyer. Thus, I have been on a crash course for the nexus of law & technology since long ago. My formal studies of criminal law began in college with coursework including Criminal Investigations, White Collar Crime, Drugs, Crime & Society, and Organized Crime. This time cemented my future -- there was no other career for me than being a defense attorney. I structured my studies & extracurriculars around the realm of criminal law. During law school, I worked briefly for an intellectual property/patent/trademark attorney. Then, I worked for a small Jacksonville firm whose primary area of practice is criminal defense. I graduated in May 2014 from Florida Coastal School of Law and was admitted to the KY Bar in September 2014. tidbits that have no business occupying a part of one's memory.

Corey Pollard is the managing partner of Jenkins Block & Associates‘ Richmond office and heads the Virginia Workers’ Compensation department of the firm. Mr. Pollard focuses his practice on representing individuals who have suffered injuries at work or through the fault of others, including car accident, motorcycle wreck, construction accident, medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. And when these personal injuries and other medical conditions lead to problems in the workplace or permanent health impairments, Mr. Pollard helps individuals obtain the monetary awards they deserve through state and federal employment law and Social Security Disability. Born and raised in Newport News, Virginia, Mr. Pollard grew up in a construction family. A graduate of Menchville High School, where he was a Virginia High School League (VHSL) State Champion in Swimming, Mr. Pollard earned his Bachelor’s Degree with honors from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. While in college, Mr. Pollard was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity. Mr. Pollard obtained his J.D. with honors from the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Pollard was selected as a member of the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public and Interest. He was also selected as member of the school’s Client Counseling & Negotiation Board after winning the Environmental Negotiation Competition in 2007. Prior to joining Jenkins Block & Associates, Mr. Pollard worked as an insurance defense attorney where he gained valuable experience and training while representing many of the nation’s largest employers and insurance carriers. Now he uses that experience to represent individuals who sustained personal injuries and disability and to fight back against insurance companies and their tactics. Mr. Pollard’s wife, Leigh, is a Human Resources Manager who provides “real world” advice and insight on employment and labor law matters. The Pollards have two children, Knox and Rivers, who keep them busy and running around, and a 5-pound dog named Simba. They are members of Bon Air Baptist Church. In his spare time, Mr. Pollard enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and playing pickup basketball and golf. When he is in the mood for punishment, he roots for his favorite football team, the Washington Redskins.

Rick is an experienced personal injury attorney in the Kansas City area. Rick was born in Frankfurt, Germany, where his father was stationed as a military policeman in the U.S. Army. Kansas City has been Rick’s home since his family moved here when he was a child. Rick’s educational achievements are outstanding. He studied economics at the Institute of Economics and Political Studies, held at the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, England. After returning to the states, Mr. DeVault obtained his B.A. in Economics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Since earning his law degree at UMKC-Law, he has practiced personal injury law in the Kansas City area. Today, Rick helps a wide variety of people obtain compensation for their personal injuries throughout Missouri and Kansas. He is committed to fighting for the rights of the injured.
